When should I book my accommodations?
We reserved room blocks at several hotels in Edgartown. These rooms become available with discounted rates Fall/Winter of 2026. For more information on our hotels and where to stay, follow the link below.
Do we need a car?
Depends on how long you plan to stay and what you want to do while you're here....just for the weekend? We don't recommend getting a car. If you're staying for longer and plan to explore, renting or bringing your own car over will be helpful!
What is the dress code for the welcome party?
SUMMER COCKTAIL
Women: Midi or knee-length cocktail dresses. Alternatively, well-tailored, sophisticated jumpsuits or coordinated top-and-pant sets.
Footwear: Dressy sandals, elegant flats, wedges, or block heels.
Men: Lightweight suits, blazers, and khaki pants are appropriate. Ties are optional but jackets are required.
Footwear: Loafers or Derbies. No sneakers or flip-flops.
What is the dress code of the wedding?
SUMMER FORMAL
Women: Floor-length gowns or elegant, formal midi dresses.
Footwear: Formal block heels, dressy strappy sandals, or elegant flats.
Men: A formal suit or a lightweight suit paired with a tie.
Footwear: Leather dress shoes, Oxfords, or polished loafers. No sneakers or sandals.
Will the events be indoor or outdoor?
The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn at the Harbor View Hotel. Cocktail hour will be held outside on the Veranda — offering both indoor and outdoor space. Dinner will be hosted in a tent on the lawn, followed by dancing indoors to close out the evening. Please note there will be some walking back and forth between spaces on the property, comfortable shoes are recommended!
What is the weather like there in June?
Expect beautiful early-summer weather on the Vineyard in June. Daytime temperatures typically reach a comfortable 73°F, while evenings cool down to around 55°F. We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater for when the ocean breeze kicks in after sunset.
Will there be parking at the venue?
Yes, there will be complimentary valet at the venue for the wedding.
Will there be parking at the welcome party?
There is no designated parking for the welcome party, guest must park in the public parking spaces downtown.
What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
When you RSVP, please indicate any dietary restrictions or preferences you may have. Our catering team will ensure that there are suitable options available for you during dinner.
